Blue Wren

The birds are coming back!
I saw an odd unknown ( to me) bird on Tuesday, I was watching its behaviour through the kitchen window and its eating habit was different and it kept picking up various plastic things would hold them for a short while then drop them. I grabbed my bird book and found it was a female or juvenile Satin Bowerbird. I was wishing I had made an effort to get a picture.

This little guy and his Jenny can be found in the garden most days never far from one another :)

A new favourite

As more and more bulbs open I am coming to realise there are more varieties of Daffodils than I could have imagined some look similar but have subtle differences in the trumpets or size. It seems every couple of days I have a new favourite.

This is my current favourite and his photo does not do it justice. The petals are cream its a mid size flower head, its a very feminine, pretty and delicate colour combo.

I still have lots more daffodils but as there is so much happening in the garden right now I am going back to daily posts and will mix it up a bit to relieve the boredom for you lovely readers :)

There is action in the potting shed now too :)

More Daffodils!

The Yellow Petal Orange trumpet are the largest variety and opened one day after the Yellow.
I see these from my kitchen window and they bring a smile to my face!

Mini Daffodil!

Oh so sweet, with a stem just 7cm long these little sweeties caught me by surprise!

Ill share a pic of each type of daffodil in our Garden  in the following days. :)

Willow

When I first stated to see these things on the ground I wasn't sure what they were then after a couple of Days I clicked ...the willow is on its way back to beautiful green!

Hellebores

I'm suddenly aware of these in more and more places around the garden. They are so beautiful in the early morning light and have quite a 'softness' about them in the garden scape.

Heavenly Scent

This has the prettiest perfume, I love it! I have no idea what it is. * I now believe this to probably be a very large Clematis*

This also has a lovely Scent and is a pretty shrub, ideally a bit too sickly for my taste but still nice. Again no idea what it is.
