Hellebores

But I don't know what this plant is it is growing in a relatively shady spot and the same as the lovely subtle pink /purple flower buds I shared a week or so ago.

Heres a look at the bigger picture. the 7 large leaf clusters are attached to this plant though the flower stalk rises from the ground independently of the leaves,

Does anyone know what this is?

Violets

On Saturday the day was so lovely and the Scent of  the violets could be smelled on the breeze.

Crocus!

Yesterday teased me with a taste of Spring. The Sun was shining and the Scent of Violets was on the fresh breeze The Sunny face of the first Crocus buoyed me as did the other bulb I spotted in flower. So many flower buds appearing on the bulbs now I can identify more easily which are jonquil and which are daffodil.

I knew this tree was under planted with Crocus but it was still a lovely surprise to see one in the Sun yesterday.

Today winter has returned with enthusiasm headed for a forecast top of 8 deg and an overnight low of -4.4

more Camellias

When we got back from our holiday these were waiting here!
this first one is similar to or the same as a smaller one that flowered earlier. So delicate.

This is simply stunning and I can't wait to see more!

This one is still not fully revealed but a good show of colour :)

Sunshine on a cloudy day

These flowers still bloom protected from the elements peeking out beneath a bench in the garden.
