See there on the heavy branch weighed down below the height of the tank,wedged between it and the support trellis, slightly obscured from overhead view by the overflow pipe, rambling roses and other vines.

The birds can't see and perhaps can't reach. They will be ripe enough to pick within days!

Oak

These are on one of the Oak tree's ( I think its an Oak ) most of the Oaks here have rounded leaves but the leaves of this one have points.

Plums

Yellow fleshed Plums

These beauties are on a grafted tree bearing two types of yellow fleshed plums. It is loaded this year and the birds are sampling just waiting. They have moved from the Apricot tree to a red skinned plum that is already ripe. 

They will have a fight on their hands as these jems made the most delicious jam last summer and there is only one jar left!

Thieves!

We were away for two days and came back to this!

The red wattle birds are constantly barking and calling to each other up the back where the tree is and if there is an upside it is that they are cleaning up the fruit on the ground quite nicely.

I went out and picked all of the remaining low lying  fruit. Less than 20 pieces, In this case the birds got over 90%. I think I have enough almost ripe fruit for a jar of jam which is what I really, really wanted to make with this fruit. Lesson learned. Next year we will net.

Blue Crown passion Fruit

This vine weaves its way up and around most of our garden, it is a weed.

The Blue Crown Passion fruit It is a yellow skinned passion fruit with bland red flesh. Last Summer the birds who are the ones I suspect bought it to our garden initially, enjoyed them. The flowers are pretty but the vine is invasive in warmer weater. I'm wondering what I can do with the bland sweet red flesh this year. 

 Here it is in one of our Plum trees.

More Crab Apple Blooms

This is another of the Crab Apples. The largest one.

So sweet and pretty.

This photo is not upside down. The Silver eyes, however, are.

Doing what they have to to get a taste of the sweet Maple Flower nectar.

The flowers have pretty much finished now these photos were taken last week and the week prior.

As you walked towards and under this tree it would be humming with the buzz of all the bee's overhead, the flowers are so tiny they would probably not otherwise be obvious. They do make a pretty contrast to the fresh green though :)
