I thought I was keeping a close eye on the camellias waiting for the buds to unfurl and reveal colours.
Then on Monday when I was sweeping in the ( as yet unnamed by us room ) I saw this behind my rack of drying Lavender.
Hmmm.
I didn't get out for a closer look until yesterday afternoon and many blooms in various stages, on this one plant greeted me.
I still wait for multiple others. Most of them reach the eaves :)
It must be an early flowering variety...I included one in my header today. It looks the same and it is also the first in this garden. I have many camellias and it will be interesting through the season to see if any others coincide with yours.
